Your mark, never your files
Watermark Maker
Add a text or logo watermark to your photos, position or tile it, and batch-apply across a whole set — then download at full resolution. Everything runs inside your browser, so your images are never uploaded and never leave your device. Built for photographers by Nakada Design.
How to Watermark Your Photos
1. Add your photos. Drop a single image or a whole shoot onto the box above. They load instantly because nothing is uploaded — the work happens on your own machine.
2. Set your mark. Type your studio name or © line in Text mode, or upload a transparent PNG in Logo mode. Adjust size, opacity, colour, angle and position until it sits right. Turn on Tile to repeat the mark across the frame for proofs.
3. Download. Save the current photo, or hit Download all to apply the identical watermark to every image at full resolution. That is the whole workflow — no account, no watermark-on-the-watermark, no catch.

Why Your Photos Never Leave Your Device
Most “free” online watermark tools upload your full-resolution files to their servers to process them. For a working photographer, that means handing unwatermarked originals — the exact thing you are trying to protect — to a third party you know nothing about.
This tool does the opposite. It uses the browser's own HTML canvas to read, watermark and export your images locally. No file is transmitted, logged or stored anywhere; the calculations happen in the same tab you are reading this in. You can prove it — load your photos, switch off your Wi-Fi, and the tool keeps working perfectly.

Watermarking Best Practices
Protect the image without ruining it. On finished, delivered or portfolio work, a small mark in a bottom corner at 35–60% opacity signs the piece without pulling the eye from the photograph.
Tile the proofs. For online galleries and proofing sets you want to keep clients from screen-grabbing, a low-opacity mark tiled across the whole frame is far harder to crop or clone out than a single corner logo.
Use your logo, keep it consistent. A transparent-PNG logo at a fixed size and position across every gallery reads as a brand. Random placement reads as an afterthought. Whatever you choose, keep it identical across a shoot — which is exactly what Download all is for.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this watermark maker free?
Yes — free, no signup, no account, no cap on how many photos you watermark, nothing to install.
Do my photos get uploaded to a server?
No. Every image is loaded and watermarked in your browser with HTML canvas. Nothing is uploaded or stored — it even works with Wi-Fi off once the page has loaded.
Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. Drop several images, set the watermark once, and use Download all to apply it to every photo at full resolution.
Can I use my own logo?
Yes. Switch to Logo mode and upload a PNG — a transparent background works best — then set size, opacity and position, corner or tiled.
What opacity and placement work best?
A corner mark at 35–60% for finished work; a larger, low-opacity tiled mark for proofs you want to keep from being cropped out.
